Who We Are

Parker Boyack

Parker is a bird nerd with ADHD and a knack for getting things done. When Patti Richards at Great Basin Wildlife Rescue asked Parker to fix the tangling issues with Ospreys, he got to work. Parker is a licensed falconer, and for several years has helped local wildlife rehab facilities with helping to capture and release birds of prey.

Parker runs profitdroid.com doing AI consulting, as well as misogi.travel where he plans and guides adventures. He is a super busy guy but will do his best to help Utah’s ospreys.

Krista Edwards

Krista has an unmatched passion for raptors. Ever since she was little she dreamed of working closely with birds and she has ruthlessly pursued that dream. Not only does Krista talk the talk with her education programs, she walks the walk with her peregrine taking it out hunting often.

Krista is an educator and loves working with children. She is a huge asset to our organization and we are lucky to have her help to protect and preserve the ospreys of Utah.

Jeff Jewkes

Few people are as dedicated and motivated to preserve and protect Utah’s wildlife than Jeff. He is a Wildlife Biologist for the National Forest Service and on and off duty loves being outside and preserving nature.

Jeff has decades of experience studying raptors in Utah and he brings a level of experience and expertise to Utah Osprey Project that is hard to find. Jeff has been watching the ospreys for a while and recognized the need to take action. We are greatful for his help!

Huge thanks to our volunteers!
